Clinical Application Specialist

Tromp Medical in Spain is expanding!

Due to our ambitious growth plans, Tromp Medical in Spain is looking for a:

Clinical Application Specialist (1.0 FTE)

Have you graduated as a radiology technician? Are you passionate about technology, training, and working with healthcare professionals? And do you feel a slight itch to grow in a more commercial direction? Then we have a unique opportunity for you.

 What will you be doing?

As a Clinical Application Specialist, you are the link between our customers and our high-quality imaging systems (including those from Carestream and Villa). You ensure that our clients learn to work optimally with our equipment. You will provide training, support installations, and act as the go-to contact for questions.

Do you have not only technical knowledge but also commercial skills—or are you eager to develop them? Our Sales team in Spain will gladly involve you in the sales process, such as customer visits, product demonstrations, and providing advice.

On a daily basis, you’ll be in contact with your colleagues from the Service department at our brand-new office in Madrid. Your own work will mostly be in the field, across the country, and you’ll occasionally be at the office for coordination and meetings.

In short: a hybrid role in which you can make full use of both your technical expertise and social skills.

Your key tasks

  • On-site training of healthcare professionals in the use of digital radiography rooms and mobile X-ray systems
  • Supporting customers during installation and commissioning of systems
  • Providing demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
  • Offering remote (phone/email) support to customers and colleagues
  • Representing Tromp Medical at trade shows and conferences
  • Supporting the sales process, depending on your ambition and skills

  What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English
  • Eager to learn, strong communicator, and able to work independently
  • Enjoys variety and is willing to travel throughout Spain (and occasionally beyond)
  • Driver’s license (Category B) is required

 What we offer

  • A unique, field-based starter role (permanent position) in medical technology at a growing international company
  • An environment where quality, technology, and long-term client relationships go hand in hand
  • A place to grow into a fully qualified application specialist and commercial expert
  • A professional and supportive team, both in Spain and internationally
  • Thorough training on our systems
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and room for initiative
  • Excellent employment conditions: company car, laptop, phone
